Wally's partnership with Zachy's Wine Auctions returns to California for The Fall Los Angeles Auction, on Friday and Saturday, October 3rd and 4th at the incredible Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills, beginning at 9:30am each day. Nearly 2000 lots of fine and rare wine will be on the auction block, including an exceptional range of classic California wines from the 1950s through the present, a small but choice offering of older German Rieslings, Bordeaux from the 1920s through the 2000s, and Burgundy from 1945 through 2005.

We are delighted to be back on the West Coast, and to celebrate we are inaugurating a new feature of our Los Angeles auctions, "Immediate Indulgences." In addition to welcoming you to bring wine from your cellar to accompany the complimentary lunch at the Peninsula, each day of the sale features lots available for immediate pickup, to enjoy during the auction should you wish. Parking will be free as well.

Here's a selection from the Zachy's Fall Auction Catolog:

A broad assortment of Bordeaux from vintages 1959 through 2003, Burgundy from 1971 through 2004, and important Rhone and California bottlings highlight this significant offering from one of the United States’ deepest cellars. Of note are magnums of Chateau Margaux 1959 and Chateau d’Yquem 1967, and multiple bottlings from Henri Jayer and the Domaine de la Romanee Conti, including a bottle of Romanee Conti 1971 and magnums of Henri Jayer’s Echezeaux 1989 and 1990. Also featured are multiple bottlings of California’s very own Sine Qua Non.
