A Bohemian Night of Taco's, Beer, and Margaritas

The other day one of my colleagues asked me what wine I would recommend drinking with tacos. My response: "Perhaps an Albarino, but I'd take cold beer with my tacos over any wine any day."

So, last night I had an opportunity to test my theory. A good friend of mine invited us and and another couple over for dinner. And, Tacos were on the menu. I brought 12 bottles of Bohemia beer per the recommendation of Andrew Stuart, our resident beer expert. I also brought a quart of our famous fresh sweet and sour margarita mix along with a bottle of  Tequila Blanco

The beer was perfect! It was really light and refreshing, but not lacking flavor. After washing down the tacos with some Bohemia, I made some margaritas, which we drank while playing "Catch Phrase." I'm not normally a big margarita drinker or, for that matter, a big spirits drinker. But these margaritas were damn good!  And, the trick was the fresh sweet and sour mix. I don't know where we get it or how it's made, but that was the key to the best margarita I have ever had.

All in all, we had a blast. The food was awesome (thanks Mike!); the beer was cold; and the company was wonderful.

 Have a delightful weekend.

 Cheers!
